Lectures

Lectures

The attorneys at isarpatent regularly present lectures and lecture series on topics in the field of IP law at higher education colleges and universities, such as the Technische Universität München (Technical University of Munich, TUM). We also present lectures at well-respected universities abroad, particularly in China and Korea.

Our lectures offer participating students and scientists an in-depth overview of the different areas of intellectual property, in particular with respect to patents, utility models, trade marks, domain names, and designs.

We look at the whole process from the conception of an idea to obtaining a patent or other relevant IP right to enforcing it before the courts and exploiting it for commercial purposes.

The lectures identify the various ways of protecting and exploiting university inventions and research results; for example within the scope of company start-ups or spin-offs or in cooperation with industry.

For some technical fields and branches of study, the content of the lectures is expanded upon with regard to the different ways of protecting innovations in a particular field on the basis of practical examples and case studies.
